Irish Champion wins Lurgan Park Cyclo Cross

Apollo CT hosted Round 1 of the Ulster Cyclo Cross series in Lurgan Park today. A big turn out enjoyed the fine weather and a fast dry course. Multiple Irish champion Darnell Moore (Caldwell Cycles) won the A race from Glen Kinning (Kinning Cycles) and Angus Fyffe (Caldwell Cycles). Paul Ferguson (Bike House CC, Bangor) was best of the massive 90 plus field in the 'B' event with Raymond Rocks (Island Wheelers) runner-up and another Bike House rider, William Larmour third.
Fran Meehan (Kinning Cycles) won the womens race from Rachel Irvine (Bike House CC)

Round 2 of the Ulster Cyclocross league will be held next Sunday in Irvinestown promoted by Lakeland CC.
