Dromore Boys - One, Two At Annaclone
Banbridge Cycling Club promoted their annual Travers Engineering Annaclone Grand Prix today in Annaclone.
The race usually opens the Ulster road racing season but was rescheduled after the heavy snowfall on the original date (3rd March 2018).
Today a full field of riders took to the start line in bright sunshine. Marc Potts (unattached) took his third successive win of the bank holiday weekend in an aggressive six lap (48 miles) race. Philip Lavery (Strata3/Velo Revolution RT) was second and Lindsay Watson (Powerhouse Sport) third.
Warren Campbell (Dromore CC) won the A4 race with his club mate Kyle Weathers second and Killinchy rider Michael Harkin third. Samantha Convery (Carn Wheelers) was first women.
