The XMTB mountain bike club hosted Round 8 of the Ulster cyclocross series today in Ormeau Park, Belfast. It was the first ‘muddy’ race of the season and the host club lived up to their name by designing a very technical course.
William Boyd gave the club a home win in the supporting ‘B’ race while his brother Graham (McConvey Cycles) was runner up to Thomas Creighton, (McConvey Cycles) in the ‘A’ race.
Niamh McKiverigan (Powerhouse Sport) was best in the womens race with her junior rival Darcey Harkness just 3 seconds behind in 2nd.
