Glenn Wins His Fathers Memorial Trophy

The Kinning cycles club promoted their summer cyclo cross event last night in the Orangefield playing fields, Belfast. The race was renamed the GP Brian Kinning in memory of Brian who passed away just ten days ago. His family and friends were all involved the the promotion with his son Glen the main organiser.
Two hundred riders competed in wet and muddy conditions. We would like to thank the Kinning family for the excellent promotion especially while still mourning the loss of Brian who was only buried six days ago.
Brian’s son Glenn did a great performance to beat the current national champion Roger Aiken and fittingly won The Brian Kinning Memorial Cup.
Keith Philips (North Down CC) won the B race. Full results to follow.
