Gavin Magown wins Groucho GP
Gavin Magown (Dromara CC) won todays Groucho GP for second and third category riders in Richill. Magown was the strongest of the five man breakaway of the hilly 8.5 mile circuit. His team mate Stephen Irvine was second but the other Dromara man in the lead group Aaron Watson, was unlucky to crash in the last lap. The Orchard Club also promoted races for the A4, masters and women. James McCusker gave the host club cause for celebration when he won the masters while Racheal Irvine took first place in the womens race. The A4 race was won by a Phoenix rider (name unknown).
