The improving junior left his breakaway companion Chris Birney (Sportactive) in the closeing miles to win. Birney held on for second as Dale Walker (Phoenix) took the group sprint for 3rd.
Southern rider Eoin Morton (UCD CC) was first in the A1 and A2 event in a very close sprint with Adam Armstrong (Asea Wheelworx) , Craig Rea (Phoenix) was third.
