Agnew SEAT Super 7 Round 6 - Titanic Quarter
Round 6 of the Agnew SEAT Cycling Series was promoted by new club Titanic Quarter Cycling club. North Down rider Matt Ormesher registered his first win with a solo victory in the A4 race. Matt and Ards CC man Steve Limmer had a race long battle aroud the technically demanding 1 kilometre circuit in the Titanic Quarter. Limmer was second with Andrew McCullogh (Killinchy CC) third and Timmy Burns (North Down) fourth.
The feature race was dominated by Gareth McKee (Banbridge CC) who attacked on the first lap and was never caught. Lindsay Watson (Plush MTB) was best of a four man chasing group in second with James Curry (Banbridge CC), Darnell Moore (Caldwell Cycles) and James Ambrose (North Down CC) completing the top five.
Agnew SEAT Super 7 Series visits Bangor for the final round next Thursday evening (13th August). Local club North Down CC are the promoters. It promises to be an exciting nights racing on Bangor’s High and Main Street. Racing commences at 7pm.
