Agnew SEAT Super 7 Round 3 - Antrim
Old Bleach CC held Round 3 of the Agnew Seat Super 7 Crit series last night in Antrim. This was the first time such an event was held in Antrim and it proved a great success. The circuit got the thumbs up from the cyclists and and also 'spectator friendly'.
There were two support races and Zino Young (Powerhouse Sport) took the U16 win, Racheal Mitchel (North Down CC) won the ladies, while Noel Boyce (North Down CC) took the 'Over 50s' win.
The Agnew SEAT Super 7 winner was Angus Fyffe Omagh Wheelers. This is number 2 win for Angus and is the present leader of the League.
Old Bleach and the Antrim council deserve a big applause for the excellent promotion. With free shopping bags with goodies, free coffee, PA, well marshalled, a good safe course, a good field of riders, thats what makes a great race.
