Dramatic End To Tour of Ulster
Dromore man Roger Aiken won the final stage of the Amber Green Energy Tour of Ulster in Cookstown today.
Aiken of Team Asea was 5 seconds clear of teenager Mark Downey (Ireland Development Team) who also comes from Dromore (Co Down). Robin Kelly (Waterford Racing Team) was third. The overall leader changed from Eoin Morton (UCD) to Mark Downling (DID Dunboyne) as a split opened in the main bunch in the closing stages and Dowling gained 6 seconds which gave him the overall win by 3 seconds over Morton.
