Mid Ulster GP
There was a close finish today in the Mid Ulster GP at Cookstown. Jake Gray (Nicholos Roche Performance Team) was the winner inches ahead of Conor McCann (Nicholas Roche Performance Team), and Angus Fyffe (Omagh CC). These three were at the head of a lead group of fourteen riders with the bunch a short distance back.
The B race for A4 riders ended in a bunch sprint won by Darren Hutton (Bann Wheelers).
The Harps Cycling Club had a busy day as in the morning they promoted youth racing and masters and ladies event.
After a cold day the riders and supporters were delighted to be served the great 'spread' of tea, sandwiches and buns. Keep it up Harps CC, it would be worth going to watch just to get the tea at the finish!!
