Cycle Ride For Clic Sargent
One of Northern Irelands newest cycling clubs 'Cycle For Christ CC' held a charity tour around the Strangford Lough on Saturday 13th September.
Seventy cyclists completed the 55 mile route with all money raised going to the Clic Seargeant Charity for Children with Cancer.
The Cycle started and finished at the Comber Christian Centre. The day began with a breakfast at the registration and a lunch was provided at Strangford by the Loch Cuan restaurant. Cyclists were then treated to a cup of tea or coffee at the finish back in Comber so no one went home hungry. The weather was perfect for cycling, taking photographs and picking blackberries!
These photos aren't really the best I've ever taken, but I've put them up to raise money for CLIC Sargent. If you would like a digital copy of a photograph, I will send you a copy in exchange for a donation to CLIC Sargent of a minimum £10 per photograph.
To order your photo, please follow this process:
- Go to http://www.clicsargent.org.uk/content/donate, and under the "Single Gift" heading, enter the appropriate donation and continue.
- Choose whether you would like to use Gift Aid.
- Under Reason for Donation, choose "Other" and enter "Cycle 4 Christ CC charity cycle".
- In the details field, enter "Donation for photos by Bronagh Kirk bronaghkirk.co.uk"
- You will receive an email from CLIC Sargent confirming your donation. Forward this email to bronaghkirk@gmail.com, and give details of the photo(s) you would like. I will then send you the full size original digital image(s) without watermark.
If there is a group photo you are interested in, I would prefer to let each individual buy their own copy otherwise it would defeat the purpose of fundraising. This is to try and raise money for charity, so there are no special offers.
The money raised for the photos from this event will help me to decide whether or not it's worthwhile attending other charity events and helping in the same way.
All photos taken by me that appear on this site or social media will contain a watermark for child-protection reasons. The watermark makes it more difficult to download and maliciously doctor the photos, and enables the original photograph to be more easily traced.
