Racing at Emyvale

Emyvale Cycling club prmoted their annual Grand Prix on Sunday in the County Monaghan town. The busy day began with a full programme of under age events in which eighty took part. Connor McCann (Dig Deep Coaching) won the Underr 16 race in a sprint finish to make it a weekend double as he won in Hillsborough on Saturday.
Winner of the main A1 &2 race was Greg Swinnard (UCD) while Declan Mulholland (Clann Eireann) took his fourth win of the year in the A3 race. The A4 race was son by Lakeland CC's Conrad Cadden and Melanie Spath won the ladies event. Tony Blayney (Ballymoney CC) took first in the masters event and was delighted to be winning a prize on the same day as his grandson Ryan Orr who was third in the A3 race.
