Fraser Wins John Moore Memorial

Fraser Duncan (Northern Dave Kane Cycles) took his second win of the season in todays John Moore Memorial race at Carryduff.

At the finish of the Castlereagh CC promotion Duncan was best of a five man lead group. Runner up was Donegal rider Mark Buchanan with last Sundays Newry winner Gary Cranston (East Antrim) third.

Dundalk Iron man Bryan McCrystal (Aqua Blue) was fourth, Ronan Mc Louglin (Dig Deep Coaching) fifth and North Down CC's Paul Ferguson sixth.

The A4 race was won by new Phoenix CC talent Jody Wright. Last Saturday Jody was a clear first accross the finish line in the Spires promoted race but he was one of a group riders who who had been unknowingly disqualified for crossing the white line earlier.

Castlereagh CC promoted a great race but the high light of the day for me was getting a sandwich at the finish instead of the traditional Family Circle Biscuit out of the tin. Keep it up Gerry, everyone appreciated them.
