Mountain Bikers Invade Rostrevor

Dromara Cycling Club promoted Round 2 of the Ulster Cross Country league yesterday in Kilbroney forest park, Rostrevor.

Hundreds of Mountain bikers invaded the South Down beauty spot as there was also a downhill race on.

The weekend festival of mountain biking was the first official events to use the newly developed trails which start and finish in Kilbroney Park.

You will notice Brendan dressed up and ready for action in the photos but after a warm-up lap, visiting certain sections of the course again and viewing Colm Watsons photos he decided this is too dangerous for him.

The main Senior 1 race was won by Matthew Adair (XMTB). For full results visit Cycling Ulster - http://www.j15ulsterxc.dromaracc.co.uk/
