Aghagallon Cup
The Aghagallon Cup race was held today by Clann Eireann at Bartins Bay near Lurgan. The senior race was restricted to the A4 category and Jude Sands (Newry) did a great ride to win on his own. He was over 30 seconds clear of the main bunch led in by Richie Sheeran (Foyle Wheelers with Graham Agnew (East Antrim) third.
The ladies race was won by Hayley Priestly (Lantern Rouge) ahead of Rachel Mitchell and Janine McNally (both North Down CC). Declan Mulholland (Clann Eireann) was well ahead to win the Under 16 race while Harry Barnes (East Tyrone) was first Under 14.
Aaron Heaney (Clann Eireann) won the Under 12s with Molly McClarnon (North Down) riding strong for second place.
Odhran Doogan (Errigal) won the novice youth race.
