Travers Engineering Annaclone GP

Travers Engineering Annaclone GP

The Ulster road racing season began today at Annaclone in freezing conditions. My usual photographing partner Jimmy Lavery was not at the event. As Brendan was playing at bike racing again and I mean playing,  I was on my own (I don't drive, you see). But Banbridge legend Gerry Beggs came to the rescue and that was a whole new experience! Riding in his luxury estate as you can see from the photo really was the business.

The two races had full fields despite the very cold weather. Mark Potts won the A1, 2 & 3 race with a late attack while young Portavogie newcomer David Hamilton (Curran Racing) was also a lone winner.

Brendan was a-lone behind everyone else!
