Great Racing in Lady Dixon Park
Hundreds of mountain bikers enjoyed a feast of racing today in Lady Dixon Park Belfast.
The XMTB club staged a superb event and as it was around of the National Points series, competitors from all over Ireland took part.
It was especially pleasing to see a huge turn out of under age riders.
The main race for Senior 1 riders was won by Robin Seymour (Wicklow Off Road Club).
Johnny Reid, a top junior in the early 2000's was a notable competitor in teh S4 event. Now a father of three daughters he is on the 'comback trail' after a ten year gap.
Unfortunately no spare battery with me meant no photos of the S 1&2 race.
