Cyclo Cross At Lady Dixon Park

Phoenix Cycling Club hosted Round 2 of the Ulster Cyclo Cross in Lady Dixon Park, Belfast today. It was possibly the biggest turn out for a cyclo cross in Ireland and the Phoenix Club deserve high praise for an excellent promotion. The youngest cyclists competed on a small course in the morning with all other categories racing in the afternoon on the main course.
Winner of the A' race was Sean O'Tuathail(Bray Wheelers) with Matt Adair(XMTB) second and Cameron McIntyre(Banbridge CC) riding well for third.
Newry rider Cathal Grant won the 'B' race ahead of in form Michael McMullan(North Down CC) and seventy five other riders! Johnny Reid (Kinning Cycles) was first in the Mountain Bike event.
