Apollo Stage Great Start To Cross Season

Competitors ranged from age six to sixty plus and hundreds of riders and supporters enjoyed a great day of sport. The Apollo club assisted by the hard working Martin Grimley (who later competed in the main cyclo cross) deserve high praise.
The just married Roger Aiken (Banbridge CC) hasn't slowed up any as he was the clear winner of the A race. His wife Kathryn was also on the podium with second lady in the MTB support race.
The winner of the MTB race was comeback man Johnny Reid (North Down).
